What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Maine CDC programs with data analysis, database queries, and data visualizations of program performance measures
- Streamline and connect Maine CDC data sources for greater efficiency
- Assist in developing program performance measures, and collecting and reporting relevant data
- Compile data and apply evidence-based quality improvement techniques to enhance program processes
- Document quality improvement efforts and assist in implementing Maine CDC's Quality Improvement Plan
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Public/Community Health, Health Administration, Health Sciences, Health Education, Public Administration, Government, Social Work, or a closely related field
- Three (3) years of professional experience in planning, developing, coordinating, and/or evaluating health programs or services, or an equivalent seven (7) year combination of education, training, and experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain thorough documentation of processes and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences
- Proven team leadership and facilitation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in collecting, analyzing, and summarizing quantitative and qualitative data for program evaluation
- Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle, and report writing and visualization software like Tableau and/or Power BI
- Proficiency in data management systems with querying capabilities
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently
