What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Negotiate and collect payments on delinquent retail, consumer, residential, or auto accounts
- Evaluate customer delinquencies and determine reasons for payment issues
- Identify loan products involved and modify collection approaches accordingly
- Document calls clearly and provide necessary debt management counseling to customers
- Suggest policy and procedure modifications based on observations and experiences

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to develop strong phone skills for effective customer interaction
- Developing negotiation skills to achieve optimal solutions
- Sales ability to make regular calls and collect payments tactfully
- Proficiency in PC skills and ability to document calls accurately

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service or collections
- Familiarity with consumer loan products
- Strong written communication skills
- Experience in a financial services environment
