What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare reports, surveys, and special projects in accordance with departmental procedures
- Review transactions from various reports and create summary reports for organizational activities
- Participate in the development and implementation of procedures for internal management and regulatory compliance
- Represent the department on committees dealing with financial and budgeting issues
- Stay updated on developments and changes affecting hospital finance and regulatory practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field is highly preferred
- Minimum of one year of progressively responsible financial planning, financial analysis, or budgeting experience
- Relevant experience in Decision Support may substitute for educational requirements
- Background in healthcare-related finance is preferred
