What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead initiatives prioritizing Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection
- Identify and pursue high-value market opportunities in geo-intelligence and defense applications
- Build and manage a structured sales funnel to achieve revenue and market penetration targets
- Engage with key stakeholders in the defense market to establish early positioning and maintain relationships
- Drive deal closure through strategic negotiation and ensure high conversion rates from leads to contracts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a United States citizen
- 10+ years of military, defense, and/or intelligence experience
- 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, and strategic market expansion within the defense industry
- Strong background in lead generation, qualification, conversion, and closing high-value contracts
- Deep understanding of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and procurement pathways
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Established network with relevant DoD Program Managers and defense contractors
- Experience in identifying and executing M&A opportunities
- Familiarity with CRM tools and financial statements for business strategy
- Experience working in multinational, matrixed organizations
