      Role Overview:

      The position requires an in-depth comprehension of demand management processes, the overall IT Service Management (ITSM) process, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and project deliveries executed using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. This role will serve as a key link between business requirements and IT capacities, guaranteeing efficient resource allocation to bolster the organization's strategic goals. The Demand Manager will work closely with stakeholders to collect, assess, and prioritize demands, thereby enhancing the overall achievement of IT projects within the company.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the demand management process.

      • Work closely with business units to gather detailed information on their IT demands.

      • Create a comprehensive demand plan analyzing historical data and trends to forecast future IT demand and resource requirements.

      • Conduct in-depth analysis of demand data, categorizing requirements based on business priorities, complexity, and strategic importance.

      • Maintain a centralized repository of all IT demands.

      • Ensure that demand requirements align with the appropriate phase of the SDLC, whether Agile or Waterfall.

      • Identify opportunities for process improvements in demand management and resource allocation.

      • Provide timely updates on the progress of demand fulfillment and address any concerns raised by stakeholders.

      • Provide status reports and dashboards to senior management on the overall health of the IT demand portfolio.

      • Assist in the development and management of the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and in line with organizational goals.

      • Monitor and report on budget utilization, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.

      Education, Skills & Experience Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

      • 5-6 years of experience in Demand Management, Project Management in a mid to large sized organization.

      • Expertise and Certification in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence etc.), Agile/Waterfall Project Management tools/methodologies is desirable.

      • Strong understanding of Telecom industry trends, technologies, and business processes.

      • Solid financial acumen for budget management and cost optimization.

      • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed decisions.

      • Open to suggestions and continuous improvements.

      • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
