What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform daily audits on client data for completeness and accuracy of coding to ensure appropriate reimbursement
- Respond to provider appeals and client inquiries regarding non-clinical issues
- Assess and address educational needs of clients and providers
- Monitor acceptance rates for assigned clients and help identify negative trends
- Participate in the Quality Committee and provide feedback for process improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a clinical role in a dental office, as a Dental Assistant or Dental Hygienist
- General knowledge of dental procedures, conditions, and treatment practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Dental coding certificate or the ability to sit for the certification exam
- Experience conducting training for internal staff and clients
- Strong analytical and statistical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Demonstrated experience in project management
