What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure the Graduate Prosthodontics Clinic is fully prepared for patient care
- Assist residents with all activities related to patient treatment, including four-handed chairside assisting techniques
- Execute daily operational duties, including cleaning and sterilizing instruments and preparing operatories
- Provide patients with appropriate home-care instructions and support front desk tasks as needed
- Manage inventory and order supplies for the clinic and assist with scheduling patient appointments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Completion of an accredited training program for dental assistants
- Current certification as a dental assistant (CDA) or ability to obtain within six months
- Minimum of two years of experience as a dental assistant
- Registration with the State of Washington as a Dental Assistant
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a dental clinic setting, particularly in prosthodontics
- Familiarity with dental materials and equipment used in restorative dentistry
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
