What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead outreach efforts by coordinating and presenting educational programs at various events
- Develop and review communication materials, ensuring clarity and accessibility
- Conduct research on Treasury policies and analyze feedback for program improvement
- Organize logistics for seminars and outreach events, including venue and technology setup
- Ensure all materials meet ADA standards for diverse audiences
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a bachelor's degree in any major
- One year of professional experience for Departmental Analyst 10, or two years of professional experience for Departmental Analyst P11
- Experience is considered professional if the job requires a bachelor's degree
- Ability to work in the state of Michigan, requiring relocation if currently residing outside the state
- Strong organizational and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in planning or supporting in-person or virtual events
- Experience developing or editing public-facing communication materials
- Experience researching policies, procedures, or laws and summarizing findings
- Familiarity with collecting and analyzing feedback or metrics to improve communication initiatives
- Previous collaboration with external partners or agencies
