What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the grant manager for small grantees, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements
- Analyze outcomes and budgets for the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) program
- Manage fraud, waste, and abuse casework, overseeing hotline intake
- Collaborate with grantees to deliver outreach and education across Michigan
- Document relevant experience and education for accurate screening
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
- For Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience
- For Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service
- Ability to work within Michigan if approved for remote or hybrid work
- Strong organizational and analytical skills

- Experience in case management or outreach and educational programs
- Familiarity with grant management and compliance monitoring
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Experience managing complex, sensitive cases
- Knowledge of federal and state health programs
