What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the Transportation Career Pathway Program to promote youth engagement in transportation careers
- Collaborate with various MDOT departments to facilitate strategic workforce development initiatives
- Develop and lead hands-on activities for students at career awareness events
- Conduct outreach and engagement efforts to inspire the next generation of transportation professionals
- Manage logistics for statewide travel related to program activities, including overnight stays
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
- Minimum of one year of professional experience for Departmental Analyst 10 level
- Minimum of two years of professional experience, including one year equivalent to the intermediate (10) level for Departmental Analyst P11
- Experience in workforce development, career pathways, STEM outreach, education, or youth engagement is required
- Must pass central registry and CPS checks prior to appointment

- Familiarity with transportation-related careers and STEM concepts
- Previous involvement in career awareness or engagement events
- Strong organizational and communication skills
