What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the Personnel Liaison, coordinating with the Office of Human Resources for hiring and onboarding processes
- Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees regarding workforce program initiatives
- Oversee and coordinate workforce program initiatives to enhance department efficiency
- Address any human resources concerns that arise during hiring and onboarding processes
- Collaborate with departmental staff to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
- Departmental Analyst 9: No specific type or amount of experience required
- Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience
- Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service
- Departmental Analyst 12: Three years of professional experience, including one year equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, or Labor Relations
- Familiarity with HR management systems such as HRMN/Infor Smart, NEOGOV, or similar programs
- Experience working in a government or public service environment
- Previous supervisory experience in a relevant field
- Military service experience may substitute for certain educational requirements
