What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure compliance with care management requirements within the Comprehensive Health Care Program (CHCP)
- Manage contractual obligations and develop analytical reports related to care management
- Oversee contracted Medicaid Health Plans (MHPs) to ensure alignment with state and federal standards
- Collaborate with the Quality Improvement and Program Development section to assist in quality initiatives
- Serve as the primary liaison for care management discussions related to adult populations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
- Minimum of four years of professional experience, with at least two years at the experienced (P11) level or one year at the advanced (12) level
- Relevant experience in care/case management across various service delivery systems
- Experience working with Medicaid, Managed Care, or private health insurance organizations
- Proven ability in developing, reviewing, and approving required reports
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in implementing and overseeing projects or initiatives
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, or MS Power BI
- Familiarity with cultural competency in professional settings
- Prior experience specifically with Medicaid Health Plans or PIHPs
- Knowledge of the state’s health care regulations and initiatives
