      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as the business product owner for the Environmental Services Section's Modernized Environmental Clearance Organizer (ECO) and Virtual Public Involvement (VPI) software
      - Troubleshoot system issues, analyze enhancements, and train staff on system usage
      - Oversee collaboration between the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) and subject matter experts
      - Ensure compliance with environmental standards and state and federal regulations
      - Compile and analyze reports for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and MDOT leadership

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
      - Minimum of four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level
      - Knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and state/federal environmental regulations
      - Experience with development, maintenance, and training for IT systems
      - Ability to provide official college transcripts or foreign degree evaluations if applicable

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), maps, and location data
      - Familiarity with public involvement processes and permitting
      - Previous experience in strategic planning and analysis for technological solutions
