What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft and implement procedures ensuring adherence to departmental quality control standards
- Demonstrate extensive payment knowledge (ACH) according to bank policies and regulations
- Perform departmental control matrix review and validation for ACH Operations
- Proactively identify and modify procedures to enhance service and operational efficiency
- Handle escalations and urgent payment requests from external departments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience in payments (ACH, Wires, Deposit Operations) at a financial institution
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support team lead with work distribution
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook
- Effective communication skills with logical and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations and bank operation policies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Accredited certification in payments processing (AAP; CPP)
- Experience in customer service within a financial institution
- Familiarity with beta testing and control matrix testing
