      Job summary

      Deputy Domestic Manager - Band 4 - Permanent

      Full time - 37.5 hours

      As a key member of the Domestic management team, the post holder is required to manage and deploy resources effectively, ensuring that performance standards are achieved through leadership and effective monitoring systems. The post holder will be required to provide specialist knowledge and advice to service users, in regard to cleaning services and national standards.

      The post holder has responsibility for ensuring cleaning is undertaken 24/7. A high degree of flexible working is required in order to adequately monitor cleaning standards. This will mean that there will be occasional late finishes and occasional weekend working.

      Must be able to work the following shift times:

      07:00 - 15:00

      11:00 -19:00

      Flexibility will be required as the Domestic Team offer a 24/7 Service to a busy Hospital Trust and Community Clinics.

      Main duties of the job

      As a key member of the Domestic management team, the post holder is required to manage and deploy resources effectively, ensuring that performance standards are achieved through leadership and effective monitoring systems. The post holder will be required to provide specialist knowledge and advice to service users, in regard to cleaning services and national standards.

      The post holder has responsibility for ensuring cleaning is undertaken 24/7. A high degree of flexible working is required in order to adequately monitor cleaning standards. This will mean that there will be occasional late finishes and occasional weekend working.The post holder will also carry out regular building inspections within the PFI estate to ensure the facilities are maintained to a high standard and are delivered in accordance with the Contractual service specifications set out for the management and delivery of the Trusts PFI Buildings. In addition the post holder will support the Domestic Manager in all aspectsof Domestic management and will deputise for the Domestic Manager as requested.
