      To provide a comprehensive financial management, costing and advisory service to the Head of Financial Management, Finance Business Partner and Budget holders within the Group (Trust and Subsidiary), in accordance with agreed timescales and professional standards.

      Main duties of the job

      To provide the corporate financial team with financial management information in relation to the Care Groups/Services/Directorate/Departments within the overallGroups monthly financial reporting requirements to the Board, NHS England & NHS Improvement.

      To assist with the preparation & completion of Annual Accounts & Reference Cost returns ensuring accurate and timely completion in line with national timescales.

Responsible for ensuring the General Ledger and associated financial systems are designed and developed in order to improve the level of services (quality, relevance, accuracy and timeliness of information) and increased efficiency to allow the Directorates/Departments to manage their budgets and deliver the Foundation Trust (FT) financial regime. Key to this role will be significantly improving and standardising the financial closedown and reporting process.
