What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as Deputy to the Logistics Project Manager for Ship Controls, leading Global Sustainment efforts
- Manage material replenishment processes and oversee procurement and delivery of materials for assigned projects
- Provide timely project status updates for Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting
- Assist in developing proposals, cost estimates, and Baseline Change Requests (BCRs)
- Support Integrated Product Teams and working groups as a representative of the Logistics Project Manager
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance
- Previous experience managing projects under general direction
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a cross-functional organization
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with developing Basis of Estimates (BOE) and proposal support
- Knowledge of LM Purchasing processes and tools (e.g., P2P) and Inventory Control Systems (e.g., Maximo)
- Experience developing material requirements and tracking material
- Familiarity with the principles of Earned Value Management (EVM) and manpower planning
