What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a subject matter expert in veterinary dermatology, providing medical guidance and support
- Liaise with various departments and external stakeholders to enhance product development and medical messaging
- Deliver specialized education on IDEXX products and services at conferences and training events
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders within the veterinary community
- Develop educational content and assist in the integration of IDEXX products into veterinary curricula
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) is required
- DACVD, DECVD, or equivalent certification
- A minimum of 5-7 years of academic innovation, clinical, or veterinary industry experience
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MS and/or Ph.D. in a related field
- Experience with clinical studies and data analysis in veterinary medicine
- Familiarity with current topics and advancements in clinical veterinary dermatology
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to learn necessary technical competencies related to diagnostic tests
