      Your New Role...

      We are looking to add a Development Coordinator that will support the Sr. Unscripted Vice President as well as the department needs of the Original Series Development team at Discovery Channel. This role will oversee typical administrative functions for the team as well as many creative projects and duties at the executives’ discretion.

      Your Role Accountabilities...

      • Manage all administrative tasks for the Sr. Vice President of Development which include, calendar, tracking calls, travel arrangements, and expenses

      • Organize and track all department creative documents such as incoming pitches and paid development slate

      • Assist with department finances including drafting deal memos for new development projects and commissions

      • Help with various creative needs such as brainstorming new series titles, crafting loglines, department presentations, and small editing projects

      • Take pitches and network with production companies, managers, talent, and agents

      • Brainstorm new ideas and identify new talent through research and casting

      Qualifications and Experience...

      • 2+ years of experience within the entertainment industry, preferably within unscripted programming

      • You’re creative, enjoy unscripted television, and are curious to learn

      • The ideal candidate is a self-started who is resourceful, proactive, flexible and can handle multi-tasking.

      • Strong verbal and written skills

      • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment while interfacing with many executives within the company in addition to producers, talents, agents, and other executives within the industry.

      • Proficiency is Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Power Point

      • Experience with photoshop and any editing tools (IMovie, Premiere, Final Cut) is preferred

      In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $41,991.00 - $77,983.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
