      SUMMARY

      The Development Coordinator supports the fundraising efforts of the AnMed Foundation by coordinating signature fundraising events, assisting with donor cultivation activities, and engaging with the next generation of philanthropic partners. This position focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for donors and prospects to connect with the mission of the AnMed Foundation through events, recognition, and community engagement.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      -Donor Cultivation

      • Assist with the planning and execution of donor cultivation and stewardship events
      • Support the design of recognition opportunities that enhance donor relationships
      • Help implement strategies to engage the next generation of donors through events, ambassador programs, and community involvement
      • Provide administrative and event support for donor engagement initiatives

      -Special Events Management

      • Oversee AnMed Foundation special event fundraisers in all areas of planning, implementation, and execution
      • Set and monitor event timelines, budgets, expenses and revenues in collaboration with the AnMed Foundation Manager
      • Secure and renew sponsorships to meet revenue targets and ensure agreement execution
      • Collaborate with staff, sponsors and committees to plan event scope, format, and budget
      • Work with marketing team to develop comprehensive communication strategies for events
      • Coordinate agendas, briefing materials and speaking notes for events
      • Provide staff support to AnMed Foundation Event Committees including meeting coordination and follow-up
      • Complete post-event assessments and submit enhancement recommendations

      -Third Party Event Program & Volunteer Management

      • Process community fundraising applications and manage 3rd Party Guidelines Policy
      • Provide support and guidance to community partners for their fundraising goals
      • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for foundation programs and events
      • Network with community resources to promote volunteer engagement

      -Community Outreach & Communications

      • Collaborate on outreach plans for special events, campaigns, and community initiatives
      • Coordinate logistics for donor stewardship and cultivation events
      • Collaborate with AnMed’s Marketing team to develop event communications including invitations, programs, and follow-ups
      • Work with marketing team on email communications, newsletters, and donor impact stories
      • Support development of brochures, signage, and branded merchandise in partnership with marketing

      -Other Duties

      • Program Manager of the annual AnMed Foundation Ambassadors leadership program
      • Act as liaison with marketing partners for development collateral materials
      • Foster positive team culture and support cross-functional initiatives
      • Perform other duties as assigned by the Foundation Manager

      QUALIFICATIONS

      · Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field required

      · Experience in fundraising, event management, sales, or customer service/hospitality experience preferred

      · Strong written and verbal communication skills.

      · Proficiency with digital tools such as Canva, Constant Contact, and social media management platforms.

      · Excellent organizational and project management skills.

      · Effective written and verbal communication skills

      · Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking

      · Advanced skills in MS Office programs.

      · Strong interpersonal skills with experience serving as a representative of an organization, with a natural ability to build rapport and credibility with program officers and individual and corporate donors.
