      Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), a global leader in development and operations, is searching for a talented individual to join their dynamic Development team as the Development Manager. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to take on a crucial responsibility, working on development projects from inception to completion. You'll be involved in every stage of the project's life cycle, including feasibility, design, planning, and delivery, collaborating closely with the project team and JV partners.

      What you will be doing…

      • Project Management: Work closely with the Development Director to manage and oversee all aspects of the project's progress and successful delivery within specified time frames, while ensuring high-quality outcomes and meeting financial parameters.
      • Feasibility and Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting feasibility studies to determine the best use of sites or buildings, considering market conditions and URW business requirements. Prepare development appraisals and financial models to assess project viability and guide decision making.
      • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain ongoing communication within the development team and key business leaders involved in the project. Provide regular updates on progress, address issues that may impact project success, and respond promptly to inquiries and requests for information.
      • Team Management: Support the Development Director in appointing, managing, and leading multi-disciplinary design teams throughout the design, planning, and delivery stages of the projects.
      • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, including local authorities, occupiers, adjacent owners, and construction teams. Ensure effective communication related to the proposed development and obtain necessary permits and approvals.

      What skills, experience, and knowledge will you need to be successful?

      • Proven and demonstrable post-qualification experience in property development, either with a developer, development manager, or a leading property consultancy.
      • Membership of RICS or a similar property-related professional qualification is desirable. Strong development and/or project management experience, including overseeing the entire development life cycle, coordinating complex mixed-use schemes, and conducting feasibility studies using Excel.
      • Possess strong numeracy skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective project management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, meeting critical deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present reports and information effectively.
      • A positive team player with an adaptable and flexible approach, able to work collaboratively to achieve results and support wider team and business objectives. Entrepreneurial mindset with a creative and inquisitive nature, along with a strong understanding of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and their impact on the business.
