- Manage and maintain Raiser’s Edge database, including entering gifts, maintaining records to include touchpoints and notes, exporting lists, reports, and analysis, and more;
- Manage all gift processing and record keeping for gifts including liaising with fiscal to record and code gifts, reconcile books, scan all gift back up, and track revenues in;
- Manage development payments in and out including vendor management and invoicing;
- Acknowledge donations in a timely fashion;
- Compile data from Raiser’s Edge for reports, development communications to donors, and more;
- Partner with Chief Development Officer to manage development events, including helping to drive production schedules, manage external consultants and event strategy, working with external vendors, working with donors and event volunteer leadership on outreach, fundraising, and guest lists, and more;
- Partner with CDO to inform Individual Giving strategy;
- Manage appeal mailings and partner with CDO on donor communications including drafting mail and email communications.
- Work with Corporate/institutional donors and individual donors where appropriate to manage volunteer opportunities and engagement associated with donations and/or membership.
- Offer support as needed to Board management, including around the five Board meetings per year.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of experience in development with a focus on database management and development operations;
- Experience with events management and individual giving
- Experience writing acknowledgement letters, and drafting appeals.

Position Summary
Key member of a three-person team that raises $1.5 million in private funding and supports $8 million in government funding/awards. Manage Development Operations organization-wide including gift processing, database management, project management, list management, acknowledgement letters and tax receipting, coordination with Fiscal team on gift processing and reconciliation, vendor payments and invoicing, and more. Partner with the Chief Development Officer on Individual Giving initiatives such as direct response campaigns (email and mail) and fundraising events.
