Create test strategies for complex applications.
Design moderate to complex data models and data solutions in an n-tier environment
Design moderate to complex data delivery solutions.
Write test plans and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
Lead and participate in gathering project requirements and documenting them.
Work with a technical team to research options, make decisions, and provide recommendations.
Test and evaluate system upgrades and new products.
Communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Manage support tasks, including bug tracking and troubleshooting.
Resolve application issues related to operation and functions.
Provide technical leadership for projects.
Define the scope of technical tasks and prioritize them for the project team.
Bachelor's degree (in lieu of degree, equivalent years of experience will be considered)
5 years of experience in application architecture, design, deployment processes, and quality control
Ability to pass a criminal records check.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Routine Telework : T his position is designated as “routine telework,” meaning you will be working remotely (from home); a hybrid schedule also is available. As with all routine telework positions, employees may be required to come into the office on occasion. The designation of Routine Telework may be subject to change at a future time. All employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the county cannot support ongoing telework from other locations. We are not able to sponsor H-B1 visas.
Type of Position: This is an hourly, AFSCME Local 88 union-represented position and is eligible for overtime.
Location: This position is officially housed in the Multnomah Building, 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd. Suite 400, Portland, Oregon, 97214.
Teleworking and Work Schedule: A variety of work schedules are available that cover core business hours. Work with your manager to find the best one.
