      Tau Six, an agile small company delivering cutting edge cybersecurity and systems integration services to the US National Security market, has an immediate need for a DevOps Team Lead to oversee a small team of ServiceNow developers for a Department of Defense customer. In this role you have the opportunity to help design and implement innovative and efficient business automation for a critical and high-visibility DoD customer.

      We are seeking an experienced and results-driven DevOps Team Lead with a ServiceNow specialization to oversee and guide a team of developers focused on ServiceNow development and knowledge management. This leadership role requires expertise in running Agile teams, delivering incremental value to users through a DevOps pipeline, and leveraging the ServiceNow platform to meet mission-critical objectives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of development experience, demonstrated success in leading teams, and an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government clearance.

      Key Responsibilities

      Leadership & Team Management:

      • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ServiceNow developers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
      • Plan and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
      • Drive the adoption of Agile best practices and foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

      Workflow & Application Development:

      • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow workflows to automate business processes.
      • Manage the creation and maintenance of custom applications using the ServiceNow App Engine.
      • Ensure all solutions meet scalability, reliability, and performance standards.

      Incremental Value Delivery:

      • Guide the team in delivering incremental value to users through a structured DevOps pipeline.
      • Monitor and improve continuous integration and delivery processes for ServiceNow solutions.
      • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and deliver features that align with organizational needs.

      Knowledge Management:

      • Establish and maintain robust knowledge management practices within the ServiceNow platform.
      • Optimize the organization, accessibility, and usability of knowledge articles to support operational efficiency.

      Collaboration & Communication:

      • Act as the primary point of contact for ServiceNow-related initiatives and coordinate with other teams to ensure alignment.
      • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, project managers, and leadership.
      • Document technical designs, workflows, and development processes.

      Compliance & Security:

      • Ensure all solutions adhere to security protocols and best practices, protecting sensitive data.
      • Maintain compliance with government regulations and security clearance requirements.

      Qualifications

      Required Skills & Experience:

      • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, with demonstrated leadership experience.
      • 2 years of Experience with the ServiceNow platform
      • Proven ability to manage and run Agile development teams.
      • Expertise in delivering incremental value through DevOps pipelines.
      • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform features, including workflow design, scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API), and custom application development.
      • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) U.S. Government clearance.

      Preferred Skills & Certifications:

      • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow App Engine and knowledge management modules.
      • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
      • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
      • Familiarity with ITIL principles and ServiceNow ITSM module.
      • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

      Other Requirements:

      • U.S. Citizenship (mandatory).
      • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
