      Job summary:

      The Engineering & Digital department defines, develops, and deploys processes, tools, and infrastructures to address the challenges faced by systems, software, and hardware engineers at Thales Group.

      Within the "E2 Eng:io" Tribe, the Red-Hawks squad, distributed between France and Romania, supports software engineers in migrating their work environment and maintaining a suite of engineering tools and several hosting environments: OrchestraLab, AWS referred to as TPC (Thales Public Cloud), and Azure referred to as TDP (Thales Digital Platform).

      The team operates in Agile mode to carry out its activities.

      By joining our team, you will also become part of a transversal department with lots of experienced engineers in different DevOps & Cloud technologies.

      You’ll need to have

      • Technical study of Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Electronics or similar

      • Solid experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly in Azure IaaS and KaaS services (mandatory: proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)).

      • Proficiency in software engineering tools such as Gitlab / Gitlab CI, Artifactory, SonarQube, and others.

      • Automation skills and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)

      • Containerisation skills (Docker)

      • Scripting skills (Python, Bash)

      • Working experience in teams using Agile Methodologies (Kanban, Scrum)

      • Communication skills and a genuine sense of service.

      • Teamwork and collaboration mentality.

      • Leadership experience in DevOps teams.

      Nice to have

      • Kubernetes certification (CKA / CKAD)

      • Microsoft Azure AZ-104 Associate certification

      • Microsoft Azure AZ-400 (Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)

      • Microsoft Azure AZ-305 Solutions Architect Expert

      Whilst working with us on

      • Participate with the Product Owner in defining the User Stories and Technical Stories related to the product roadmap to achieve technical cohesion.

      • Facilitate technical sessions with the team to select future technical choices to be implemented in the product.

      • Investigate potential issues by conducting studies on the future selected technical choices.

      • Ensure the quality of product deliveries made by the team.

      • Support the team in growing their automation of deliverables

      • Share expertise with the other team members in order to grow together as one team

      • Provide valuable input for the team’s continuous improvement by contributing to the technical & functional roadmaps.

      Mobility - Travels to France – 1-2 per year
