What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support and sustain digital forensic laboratory systems for federal investigations
- Lead technical initiatives to modernize digital forensic capabilities while ensuring evidentiary integrity
- Plan, manage, and deliver technical projects, ensuring adherence to federal schedules and budgets
- Perform system validation and operational readiness assessments for forensic tools and platforms
- Develop and maintain documentation for audits, accreditation, and legal proceedings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Demonstrated expertise in Digital Forensics and forensic tools supporting computer, mobile, and media examinations
- Experience in forensic laboratory environments for law enforcement or regulatory investigations
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking, including secure network segmentation and monitoring
- Expert experience with virtualized environments, including VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft Azure, and AWS
- Ability to support systems under federal cybersecurity and information assurance requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Current professional certifications such as IACIS Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), BCERT, ACERT, or SANS certifications (GCFE, GCFA, or equivalent)
- Prior federal or state Law Enforcement experience as a Digital Forensic Examiner
