What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to implement advertising plans for print and digital media
- Research and develop tailored advertising opportunities for trade and scholarly books
- Manage the advertising schedule and ensure timely trafficking of ads across various platforms
- Proofread and edit ads to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications
- Create and monitor Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns under the Marketing Manager's supervision
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 months of publishing experience or equivalent through an internship or work-study
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a process-oriented mindset
- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while synthesizing feedback
- Genuine interest in scholarly book publication and related academic engagement
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Degree from a 4-year college or university in a relevant field
- Marketing focus or experience in related marketing roles
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Proficiency across various modes of communication
- Enthusiasm for collaboration and commitment to professional conduct
