What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct Quality Control examinations of loan reviews completed by Loan Review Analysts
- Provide real-time feedback regarding errors and determine corrective actions
- Ensure regulatory compliance for loans reviewed and escalate trends of errors to management
- Act as a subject matter expert, assisting with problem-solving and loan review guidance
- Coach and train staff to meet company and department goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in mortgage underwriting and quality control
- Strong understanding of condition clearing processes and their impact on loan grades
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize job duties effectively according to company needs
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with second-level reviews, escalations, and performance management
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of mortgage due diligence software such as Andor, MSP, Black Knight/LPS, and Fiserv
