Are you a dynamic sales leader ready to make a significant impact in the life sciences industry? At Signant Health, we’re transforming clinical research with cutting-edge technology, and we’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Director to help us accelerate growth in the Boston region.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic partnerships with biotech companies, positioning Signant Health’s innovative solutions at the heart of clinical trials. If you have deep experience in the eClinical space, a passion for revolutionizing the way trials are conducted, and a track record of success in solution-based sales, we want to hear from you!

      What You’ll Do:

      • Drive Strategic Growth: Own and execute the sales strategy for biotech accounts on the East Coast, ensuring revenue targets and business objectives are met.

      • Engage Key Decision-Makers: Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor in their clinical research journey.

      • Develop & Implement Sales Plans: Create targeted account strategies that align with Signant Health’s overall business goals and drive sustainable growth.

      • Lead Complex Sales Cycles: Manage high-value, solution-based sales processes, from initial engagement through contract negotiation and close.

      • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Solution Leads, Solutions Architects, and Scientific Consulting teams to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.

      • Guide Proposal & Bid Defense: Take the lead in crafting compelling proposals, analyzing study protocols, and ensuring our solutions stand out.

      • Forecast & Report: Provide accurate and insightful sales forecasts, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed.

      What You’ll Bring:

      Must-Haves:

      • Proven track record in B2B sales within the eClinical space, with experience selling technology-driven clinical research solutions.

      • Deep understanding of biotech industry needs and the ability to position Signant Health as a key partner in clinical trials.

      • Demonstrated success in complex, consultative sales, including proposal development, bid defense, and customer presentations.

      • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic account plans, managing pipelines effectively and forecasting sales outcomes.

      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

      • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

      Nice-to-Haves:

      • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

      • Experience working within CROs, biotech, or global matrixed organizations.

      • Familiarity with Salesforce.com (or similar CRM systems), Microsoft Office, and Excel.
