      We seek a highly motivated, results focused, passionate individual to join our team at Cincinnati Children's Hospital as Director, Equitable Healthcare, Michael Fisher Child Health Equity Center. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact achieving equitable health and well-being outcomes for all children and youth. The ideal candidate will be committed to health equity, willing to innovate, able to connect with busy clinical teams, and trained in quality improvement methods. They will work easily with diverse partners in the hospital, including frontline clinicians, social workers, care managers, community health workers, and improvers. The candidate will also work closely to connect health care to community and home supports that will mitigate the social determinants of health.

      The successful candidate will:

      · Interface with key clinical areas and initiatives - such as clinical divisions, Quality Excellence, and Integrated Operations - to co-develop and support equity-oriented aims, measures, data, strategies, and family and community partnership.

      · Jointly develops clear and measurable performance objectives and monitors progress rigorously, planning, and linking action to prioritized goals.

      · Collaborate closely with the Anderson Center, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, HealthVine, and other internal partners to execute on the role.

      · Align equity efforts with emerging initiatives and priorities, including new institutional, local, state and federal policies.

      · Operationalize a process to engage and support internal teams in need of equity consultation.

      · Collaborate with the Research Foundation, HealthVine and others to advance research and learning.

      · Work with partners to build diversity across career pathways related to Center goals.

      · Grow and manage a positive, adaptive, skilled, collaborative, and committed team.

      · Recognize health equity will not be achieved from health care alone and partner seamlessly with other Fisher Center leaders to integrate health care and community supports.

      Qualifications

      Required:

      Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of work experience OR Master’s Degree and 7+ years of work experience

      Experience working with diverse groups in a healthcare setting, a history of commitment to community engaged work and/or equity, a strong orientation toward quality improvement and data and strong influencing and relationship skills. History of clinical work experience strongly preferred.
