- Develops and leads planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of the company's HR initiatives across a region or large business group.
- Actively partners with and influences clients at the SVP and VP level on a regular basis.
- Drives strategies and initiatives at the regional/global/business group level by exercising some governance oversight in one or more areas (e.g., key policy decisions, requisition approval, resolution of high-impact disputes).
- May have significant financial responsibility (e.g., budget of $1 million+ USD).
- Leads a team of Managers and Senior Individual Contributors for a business function, and/or region by setting overall program initiatives, allocating financial and human capital for programs and projects, and ensuring timely and effective delivery of human resource programs.
- May be responsible for significant dotted-line employee reporting relationships.
- First-level university degree; advanced university degree in business preferred.
- Typically 12+ of business partner experience with significant strategic experience, including senior management influence.
- Superior ability to provide HR consultation to senior managers and employees on HR issues regarding employee relations, staffing, compensation, HR policies and performance management.
- Ability to work in a collaborative manner and develop strong working relationships with clients, employees and HR colleagues.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Strong leadership and staff development skills.
- Ability to build partnerships across various functions.
- Strong communication skills - written, oral and presentation.
- Ability to manage complex administrative processes concurrently.

The Director - HR Business Partner supports the HPE Financial Services (HPEFS) global business. HPEFS combines over 20 years of technology insights and financial acumen, to help customers create innovative, sustainable IT asset management strategies across the entire technology estate, from edge, to cloud, to end-user devices. HPEFS can help organizations plan and fund a shift to aaS, using a combination of asset management and financial solutions – all while keeping sustainability goals in mind and helping overcome barriers to peak performance.
Job Family Definition:
Acts as a consultant and partner to HPE businesses and functional organizations. Drives the people strategy and organizational design, and the process of transformation, talent management, and workforce planning. Leads change initiatives and implements specific HR strategies to achieve organization goals and objectives. Aligns performance management and reward systems to drive and reinforce desired behaviors. Ensures HR programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitors effectiveness through the tracking of key measures. Balances corporate, function, geographic and business needs in deploying HR programs to the business unit. Collaborates with HR program/policy/process owners to deliver effective HR programs.

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay.
