What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop thought leadership on automotive retail, manufacturing, and insurance sectors, analyzing trends across a global client base
- Synthesize insights across clients and geographies to identify key industry trends relevant to the employer's business lines
- Produce concise research publications that connect external trends to opportunities and risks
- Facilitate market intelligence functions to ensure effective information flow among stakeholders, including business leaders and the Board of Directors
- Conduct business case analyses for new product opportunities and support corporate development initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of fundamental market research experience in a specific sector
- Experience in automotive retail, manufacturing, or auto insurance preferred
- Formal credit or equity training from a buy-side or sell-side firm
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills for effective communication of research outcomes
- Proven analytical skills to identify trends and quantify potential impacts and opportunities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA and/or CFA Charter (or progress towards)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple complex tasks
