      This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for the State of Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota.

      Overview

      We seek a highly skilled and motivated Director of Business Development to join our team. The Director of Business Development will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our business by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the global payments industry.

      This position is a pipeline requisition for future opportunities.

      Responsibilities

      • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
      • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions, to expand the company's market presence.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other key stakeholders to drive business growth and foster long-term partnerships.
      • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive sales strategies to generate leads and increase customer acquisition.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and finance, to drive alignment and ensure the successful execution of business development initiatives.
      • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, and make recommendations to senior management.
      • Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development activities, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure goals are met.
      • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

      Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

      • Revenue Growth: Achieve revenue growth in targeted markets or segments.
      • New Business Acquisition: Meet or exceed new business acquisition targets quarterly/annually.
      • Partnership Development: Establish new strategic partnerships within the fiscal year, resulting in measurable business impact.
      • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with a strong conversion rate
      • Client Satisfaction: Maintain a strong client satisfaction score
      • Market Penetration: Increase market share within targeted regions or sectors over the fiscal year.

      Qualifications

      • Demonstrated experience working for Fortune 1000 companies or marketing services companies/agencies targeting Fortune 1000 companies.
      • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive sales experience, specifically selling to Fortune 500 companies.
      • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with key external stakeholders, including prominent content partners such as Apple, Google, Amazon, Starbucks, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Netflix, etc.
      • Proven ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with internal leadership teams, international counterparts, and cross-functional teams across corporate and international offices.
      • Extensive 8+ years of documented business development experience, with a focus on solution-based selling to sales, marketing, and procurement senior executives, as well as C-level executives.
      • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and salesforce.com (or other CRM tools) to effectively manage sales activities and client interactions.
      • Demonstrated track record of sales success, consistently performing in the top quartile of sales performers.
      • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10-20% of the time to visit clients, attend tradeshows, and engage in business development activities.
      • Bachelor’s degree preferred, focusing on business administration, marketing, or related field.

      Benefits

      OTE for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota): Up to $300,000.00
