      Honors Carolina and the Arts and Sciences Foundation at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seek applicants for the position of Director of Development. This position leads efforts to secure external funding from individual donors and foundations to support Honors Carolina. The position coordinates prospecting and fundraising efforts with the Arts and Sciences Foundation team and reports both to the Peter T. Grauer Associate Dean for Honors Carolina and the Associate Dean for Development for the Arts and Sciences Foundation. The position is responsible for but not necessarily limited to the following:

      - Conducting long-range, strategic development planning for Honors Carolina fundraising
      - Identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major and principal gift prospects and donors
      - Managing the Honors Carolina advisory board and Go Anywhere advisory councils, including nominations, recruitment, subcommittees, and strategic planning
      - Managing the Honors Carolina Social Media, Communications, and Assistant Director of Communications and Development
      - Overseeing the Honors Carolina annual fund, setting targets and tracking funds raised with the assistance of the Assistant Director of Communications and Development
      - Working with the Arts and Sciences Foundation to coordinate Honors Carolina efforts with the development work of the College of Arts and Sciences and University as a whole
      - Developing an annual development calendar that captures events, solicitations and meetings
