What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Market the West Coast territory for ESOP record keeping and consulting services
- Partner with distribution teams on sales opportunities involving ESOP plans
- Collaborate with industry partners to maintain a strong leadership position in the ESOP arena
- Execute complex consulting agreements
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with clients and prospects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in retirement, ERISA, or employee benefits
- 3+ years experience working specifically with ESOPs
- Proven ability to leverage ESOP experience to define and sell value-added consulting services
- Strong skills in consulting, negotiation, presentation, and communication
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 10 years of equivalent experience for VP level
- 5+ years experience working specifically with ESOPs for VP level
- Assertive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel frequently, up to 75% of the time
