What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and deliver engaging training experiences for veterinary care staff, transforming theory into practical skills
- Facilitate high-quality workshops on various topics, demonstrating expert presentation skills
- Drive adoption and optimization of the ASPCA Learning Management System in a fast-paced environment
- Lead training initiatives from inception to implementation, ensuring high-quality onboarding experiences
- Conduct regular site visits to observe training in action and provide constructive feedback
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
- Minimum five years’ experience training staff in a professional environment
- Minimum five years’ experience presenting to an in-person audience in a group/workshop setting
- Minimum three years' experience developing and designing professional onboarding or training materials
- Demonstrated experience applying instructional design methodologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience developing e-learning experiences using platforms such as Articulate or Rise
- Demonstrated experience training in a fast-paced human or veterinary medicine environment
- Project management skills and experience
- Experience in change leadership
- Experience managing or mentoring staff
