What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Set the technical vision and strategy for the AI specialist team, aligning with global go-to-market initiatives
- Develop and execute product area go-to-market strategies in partnership with Product and Sales teams
- Manage the end-to-end pre-sales lifecycle, ensuring resource allocation and KPI tracking
- Lead the development of demo environments, proof of concept materials, and customer-facing collateral
- Partner with internal teams to optimize existing AI use cases and address new use cases
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or systems engineering roles
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or management capacity within the technology sector
- Proven track record of managing the pre-sales lifecycle and improving staff retention or development
- Relevant technical certifications, such as Splunk Certified Architect
- Experience in applying AI/ML frameworks to business use cases with documented project delivery
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Depth of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI methods, specifically related to Splunk AI
- Background in security or observability platforms
- Experience operating across global time zones and willingness to travel occasionally
- Knowledge of strategies for operationalizing logs and metrics across various infrastructure providers
- Familiarity with emerging market trends in AI and technical content creation
