What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide strategic direction for research and system improvement initiatives supporting state and local courts
- Oversee a portfolio of consulting, research, and technical assistance projects to enhance court operations
- Identify and pursue diversified revenue opportunities to sustain and grow initiatives
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary team of researchers and consultants
- Serve as a senior contact for state and local court leaders and stakeholders, fostering trusted relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in public administration, public policy, law, court administration, or related field
- Significant experience (typically 8-12 years+) working with or within courts or judicial branch organizations
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience overseeing multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong knowledge of court operations, research methods, and public sector administration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience producing high-quality reports and presentations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous consulting and/or research experience with state or local courts
- Ability to travel to client locations and conferences throughout the United States
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
