- Strategic Leadership and Vision: Develop and execute comprehensive scheduling strategies aligned with organizational goals, market demands, and growth objectives. Lead strategic planning initiatives, establish longterm operational vision, and drive enterprise-wide scheduling transformation to enhance competitive positioning.
- Multi-Department Operations Management: Oversee scheduling operations across multiple locations, service lines, and geographic regions. Manage department managers, coordinate cross-regional initiatives, and ensure consistent service delivery standards while optimizing resource allocation and operational efficiency.
- Executive Collaboration and Business Development: Partner with C-suite executives, VP-level leadership, and board members on strategic initiatives, business development opportunities, and operational planning. Represent scheduling operations in executive meetings, strategic planning sessions, and organizational decision-making processes.
- Financial Management and P&L Responsibility: Develop and manage enterprise-wide scheduling budgets, analyze financial performance, and drive profitability improvements through operational optimization. Oversee cost management, resource planning, and ROI analysis for scheduling technology investments and process improvements.
- Technology Strategy and Innovation: Lead enterprise-wide technology strategy for scheduling systems, automation platforms, and digital transformation initiatives. Oversee vendor relationships, system implementations, and technology roadmap development to enhance operational capabilities and competitive advantage.
- Performance Excellence and Quality Management: Establish enterprise-wide performance standards, quality metrics, and operational benchmarks for scheduling operations. Drive continuous improvement culture, implement best practices, and ensure consistent achievement of operational KPIs across all locations.
- Industry Leadership and External Relations: Represent the organization in industry associations, regulatory forums, and professional conferences. Build strategic relationships with technology vendors, industry partners, and healthcare systems to drive innovation and business growth opportunities.
- Organizational Development and Talent Management: Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development programs for scheduling operations. Foster high-performance culture, mentor senior managers, and ensure organizational capability development to support growth objectives.
- Risk Management and Compliance Oversight: Identify and mitigate enterprise-wide operational risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop business continuity plans for scheduling operations. Oversee audit processes, compliance reporting, and risk management frameworks.
- Customer Experience and Satisfaction: Drive customer-centric operational strategies, oversee patient satisfaction initiatives, and ensure exceptional service delivery across all patient touchpoints. Lead voice-ofcustomer programs and implement service improvement initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Partnership and Integration: Collaborate with Clinical, Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, and other departments to ensure integrated service delivery and operational alignment. Lead cross-functional projects and drive organizational initiatives that impact scheduling operations.
- Change Management and Process Optimization: Lead organizational change initiatives, process reengineering projects, and operational transformation programs. Drive adoption of new technologies, processes, and operational models while managing change impact across the organization.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and functions within the guidelines of HIPAA.
- Completes assigned compliance training and other education programs as required.
- Maintains compliance with AdaptHealth's Compliance Program.

- Associate's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience with 5+ years in executive management roles
- Previous experience in DME, respiratory services, or healthcare qualification preferred.
- Proven record of managing large-scale operations, budgets, and strategic initiatives.
- Extended sitting at computer workstations with repetitive keyboard use; occasional standing, bending, and lifting to ten pounds.
- Professional office setting with variable stress levels during regulatory deadlines, audit periods, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Proficiency with computers, office equipment, healthcare management systems, and business intelligence applications
- Sustained concentration, diligence, and ability to manage confidential business and patient information with discretion.
- Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills for executive interactions and stakeholder management at all organizational levels
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and availability for extended hours when required
Position Summary:
The Scheduling Director is responsible for leading and directing all patient scheduling operations for Durable Medical
Equipment (DME), Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) devices, and oxygen therapy services across multiple locations and
service lines. This role ensures strategic alignment of scheduling operations with organizational objectives while
optimizing operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and resource utilization.
