Health economics, biostatistics, epidemiology, or related field:> 10 years
RWE study design and execution with strong focus on economic value analysis and strategy development
Data strategies/statistical analysis including traditional statistical methods, ML related predictive analytics, and causal inference methods (e.g., TMLE, super learning, etc.)
The state of art methodologist with appropriate stakeholders (regulatory bodies, payers, patients, healthcare professionals, societies)
Evidence generation plans
Abstract/ Poster/Manuscript development
Demonstrated understanding of the health care environment and the regulatory issues affecting the health care industry
Pricing/reimbursement in biotechnology/pharmaceutical companies
Health technology assessment (HTA) around the world
Track records in business development and proposal development
Possess strong business acumen and financial skills; budget management experience is required.
Proactive application of therapeutic area and disease treatment knowledge
Able to implement projects including key stakeholders with high degree of autonomy.
Strategic thinker and implementer
Proven ability to perform successfully under stringent timelines and with competing priorities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills (including strong demonstration of ability to network and collaborate with others)
Knowledge and understanding of disease management and upcoming trends.
Knowledge of competitive products and their application
As an integral member of the RWE/HEOR leadership team, the Director will be responsible for the development and implementation of scientifically robust evidence generation activities for clients.
Design and execute retrospective database studies.
Develop research strategies for all HEOR/RWE projects and provide scientific guidance to project teams.
Proactively and independently contribute to research planning process and resolution of complex issues for project teams.
Critically review major deliverable and ensure the highest quality including technical reports (modelling and RWE studies) & HEOR abstracts/manuscripts, systematic literature review/meta-analysis reports, value dossiers and other HEOR deliverables
Mentor project teams scientifically and behaviorally. Groom next generation of leaders within Axtria
Lead by action
Develop expertise in HEOR/RWE through publications and presentations of scientific research.
Advanced expertise in HEOR/RWE through ongoing training, competitor monitoring, sharing best practice and appropriate use of consultants.
Responsible for project management in collaboration with other team members for time, budget, and quality.
Requires high level of interactive communication and challenges to conceptual thinking as necessary.
Well-developed conceptual thinking with capability to access internal and external resources for advice.
Able to influence, inspire and motivate others at all levels.
Proven teamwork and collaboration skills

Effectively represents the company externally to key stakeholders.

Advanced degree in life sciences (e.g., MD, PhD, Pharm D, etc.) and/or health economics.
Doctoral degree in relevant field (Preferred)
Master’s degree in outcomes research, health economics or related fields (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in clinical or biological sciences, engineering, operations research over 10 years of experience in relevant field
