      Overview
We are seeking a high-impact, execution-focused Project Management leader to support a large-scale MedTech Supply Chain Digital transformation initiative. While the initial request is for a Project Manager, the scope, complexity, and expectations of the role require a more senior, Director-level operator who can function beyond traditional PM responsibilities.
This role is best suited for someone who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels, drive alignment across complex stakeholder environments, and take ownership of execution outcomes-not just coordination.
You will act as a force multiplier within the program, ensuring delivery stays on track by removing obstacles, driving decisions, and proactively addressing risks across cross-functional teams.

      Position Summary
This role leads and supports delivery across transformational MedTech Supply Chain programs, operating as a hands-on execution leader and problem solver. The primary focus is to ensure forward momentum, resolve blockers, and enforce accountability across program workstreams.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, brings strong structured problem-solving skills, and has a bias for action. You will work closely with business, technology, and program leadership to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions that protect timelines and deliver measurable business value.

      Key Responsibilities
      Program Execution & Delivery Leadership
      • Drive execution across multiple workstreams within a complex, cross-functional program environment
      • Act as the primary escalation point for delivery challenges, ensuring rapid resolution of blockers
      • Maintain program momentum by proactively identifying and addressing risks, dependencies, and constraints
      • Ensure alignment between business, technology, and vendor teams
      Problem Solving & Risk Management
      • Anticipate delivery risks and intervene before issues impact milestones
      • Challenge assumptions, validate plans, and stress-test execution strategies
      • Use program health data to drive action-not just reporting
      • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
      Project Planning & Governance
      • Define and enforce project management standards, tools, and best practices
      • Establish clear project scopes, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics
      • Implement governance structures that enable speed and decision-making-not bureaucracy
      • Ensure financial and operational health of programs is actively managed
      Stakeholder Management & Communication
      • Partner with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions
      • Drive alignment and decision-making across matrixed organizations
      • Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation strategies to leadership
      • Influence without authority in a highly complex environment
      Resource & Team Management
      • Identify resource gaps and drive allocation strategies to support delivery
      • Support onboarding and enablement of new team members
      • Mentor and guide project managers and delivery leads
      • Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven team culture
      Value Delivery & Outcomes Focus
      • Ensure programs deliver measurable business value, not just activity completion
      • Partner with value management teams to define and track success metrics
      • Hold teams accountable for outcomes, timelines, and quality

      Required Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree required
      • 10+ years of experience in Project/Program Management, Supply Chain, or enterprise transformation initiatives
      • 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional global programs with direct accountability for delivery
      • 3+ years of people management or team leadership experience
      • Proven ability to drive execution in highly matrixed environments
      • Strong structured problem-solving skills with a bias for action
      • Demonstrated experience removing blockers, resolving escalations, and accelerating delivery
      • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
      • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels

      Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience within MedTech, Supply Chain, or Digital Transformation environments
      • Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain technologies
      • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification
      • Experience with AI-enabled transformation or automation initiatives
      • Background in large-scale enterprise program delivery

      Key Working Relationships
      Internal:
Program Leadership, Supply Chain Digital PMO, Business Unit Leaders, IT, Vendor & Value Management, Communications
      External:
      Third-party implementation partners and vendors

      Supervisory Responsibilities
      Direct Reports:
Project Managers and Workstream Delivery Leads
      Indirect Reports:
Cross-functional team members supporting program execution

Ideal Candidate Profile (What "Great" Looks Like)
      • Not a passive PM-this is a driver of execution and outcomes
      • Comfortable stepping into ambiguity and creating clarity quickly
      • Willing to challenge teams, escalate issues, and push decisions forward
      • Operates with urgency, ownership, and accountability
      • Balances big-picture strategy with hands-on delivery involvement
