      · Estimated annual base pay: $165,000(minimum) - $206,000(midpoint) - $247,000 (maximum)

      Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Talent Development executive, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Director, Talent Development who will be responsible for operationalizing the talent development strategy through people, process, programs, and development approaches. This role is ultimately responsible to for creating and maintaining performance management processes and systems, development planning and career development approaches, succession planning and high potential development, and leadership development. The responsibilities of this role is critical in creating a high performance culture and high engagement. This position will report to the Vice President of Organizational & Talent Development

      What You Will Be Doing

      • Creating a small, but mighty talent development team that can provide services and support to Woodward, providing common solutions across business units, while also anticipating and meeting unique talent development needs
      • Creating a performance management philosophy and process. This includes leveraging Workday, assisting the organization in aligning contributions to enhance overall company performance, and assisting leaders and employees in building the skills to leverage performance and development/career conversations to enhance individual performance and engagement.
      • Building and implementing a leadership development framework and accompanying curricula to grow best in class leaders at Woodward.
      • Creating and implementing an assessment (selection and development) and coaching strategy
      • Creating and implementing a succession planning and high potential identification process, and accelerated development approach for this key talent across Woodward. Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure a ready now pipeline of talent for critical roles

      What We Are Looking For

      • Significant experience in Talent Development, with significant experience leading and building a Talent Development organization
      • Experience managing senior client relationships to understand business needs and priorities to help build and implement a comprehensive talent strategy
      • Deep expertise in all aspects of talent development, including performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and high potential development. Proven results to increase engagement and accelerate development of key talent.
      • Demonstrated ability to lead change and create common practices across organizations
