- Track record of delivering innovative global employee and consumer facing mobile and web applications.
- Experience planning, managing, and leading complex technology projects through the full development lifecycle in a high-paced dynamic environment.
- Proven success establishing processes and tools to streamline software development with Agile-based methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, rapid prototyping, infrastructure tools, monitoring and test automation.
- Extensive experience planning and leading software release cycles.
- Demonstrated success hiring, developing and building an inclusive team-based culture.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and work in a dynamic matrixed environment with cross functional teams within and outside of Retail.
- Strong knowledge of retail industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- 15+ years of engineering and program/product experience within leading consumer products and/or retail organizations.

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $279,300 and $547,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

As the Director/Senior Director of Retail Technology, you will lead the team responsible for designing, building, and implementing our portfolio of global Retail store systems that empower our teams and engage our customers.Key QualificationsDescriptionDevelop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the retail business goals and objectives. Work closely with the executive team, engineering and retail leadership to ensure alignment on resources, scope, and priorities for Retail. Ensure a strong and integrated management systems that both delivers quality projects on time and within budget, and ensures reliable operations. Lead Product Management team to drive innovation through their expert knowledge of retail business processes and systems. Explore new technology and collaboratively develop solutions with multiple engineering groups, business team members, and external partners. Lead Engineering team using your deep understanding of software and hardware development to explore and analyze new technology. Align on technology architecture and integrations with internal and external systems to deliver end-to-end, groundbreaking customer experiences with high reliability at scale. Build and manage a high-performing diverse team with an inclusive culture.
