      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage an assigned caseload of disability claims for Short Term and Long Term Disability
      - Communicate with claimants, employers, and medical professionals to gather necessary information for eligibility and benefit management
      - Render benefit determinations and provide superior customer service within expected timeframes
      - Verify ongoing disability and participate in claim reviews to discuss return-to-work opportunities
      - Utilize disability claim systems to manage and authorize payments while meeting service standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
      - Minimum of 2 years of experience in STD/LTD claims adjudication
      - Knowledge of ERISA regulations and disability procedures
      - Good verbal and written communication skills
      - Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel and web-based systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in TPA or self-administration services
      - Familiarity with FMLA/State leave claims
      - Aptitude for learning medical terminology and interpreting regulations
      - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze information
      - Effective interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
