      The Engineering Specialist I is responsible for:

      • Collaboration with the Design Team to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time.
      • Applying intermediate engineering principles to produce accurate and precise calculations and design deliverables.
      • Knowledge of transmission and distribution materials associated with basic and intermediate project designs.
      • Utilizing design software to create designs compliant with all codes and client standards.
      • Performs material selection and takeoffs for basic and intermediate project designs.
      • Review and understand project specifications, requirements, and standards.
      • Coordinate with other team members to ensure design intent is transferred to the design drawings.
      • Establishes, promotes, and assures quality on all projects and work performed.
      • Provide quality workmanship for all projects and work performed.
      • Supports a safety culture within group and demonstrates safe work practices.
      • May provide technical oversight on basic project tasks.
