      Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a PhytoGen Cotton Seed District Sales Leader serving the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and New Mexico. If you have a passion for providing solutions to customers and leading a high-performing team, this is a great opportunity for you!

      The District Sales Leader is responsible for managing the sales of PhytoGen Cotton Seed in an assigned area. This position develops and implements tactical plans to support the successful execution of Strategic Marketing Plans (SMP) including sales programs and policies in line with business objectives. The District Sales Leader leads district personnel in achieving business objectives and coaches' individuals on the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to succeed.

      This is a remote position location preference in Central Texas. If hired, you may be required to travel as necessary to support business activities.

      What You'll Do:

      Manages District Sales Team
      • Provides leadership, vision, direction and focus for District sales activities while fostering learning and motivation of employees
      • Manage employee performance by clearly communicating expectations and coaching individuals on skills and abilities required for success
      • Evaluates sales team members' performance and holds individuals accountable for meeting established performance expectations

      Develops Relationships with Key Customers
      • Builds and manages relationships with key customers to promote products and services in alignment with area marketing and sales strategies
      • Understands customer needs and provides feedback to the commercial team on marketing effectiveness, as well as suggested improvements to the Area sales strategy
      • Actively works with Retail customers to identify opportunities to improve service and support of our products

      Develops District Operating Plan and Utilizes Marketing Tactics to Deliver Sales Goal
      • Manages assigned sales plan within budget and seeks growth opportunities within District
      • Integrates District and Area business plans to achieve Sales PO
      • Collaborates with team to prioritize customers and oversees sales activities within District

      Achieves Organizational Performance Goals
      • Sales Target
      • Margin Goal
      • Market Share
      • Aligning with Corteva Strategic Sales Goals


      What You'll Need:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
      • Eight (8) years of Ag marketing or sales experience to include the management and development of employees and teams
      • Knowledge or training in a specialized, technical, or professional discipline such as Agronomy, Plant Science, Marketing, Agri-business, Business Administration, or related field.
      • Demonstrated knowledge of Selling and coaching sales methodology, tools, and techniques.

      This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
