What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the development and execution of sales strategies and go-to-market plans to meet revenue goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the assigned area
- Oversee the complete customer lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and documentation accuracy
- Generate leads and fill the sales pipeline with items for auctions and other sales channels
- Train, coach, and mentor the sales team to effectively represent the company and drive sales success
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 6 years of proven sales leadership experience, including management of remote sales teams
- Experience with heavy equipment and machinery, such as construction and agricultural equipment
- Proven track record of revenue attainment through proactive lead generation and consultative selling
- Strong strategic planning and budget management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on teamwork
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in new and used equipment sales, equipment rental, or appraisal consulting
- Familiarity with internet sales technologies, including platforms like eBay
- Attention to detail with a mechanical inclination towards relevant equipment
- Experience in team management and building in a sales context
- Self-motivated with a readiness to excel in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment
