      A Day in the Life...

      The Central Division Manager and the East Division Manager for the Foodservice channel are key lead roles for Ocean Spray’s growth channels. These leaders will drive strategy, revenue, relationship building, and execution for distribution development and broker field sales teams in each geography. These talents will also lead our largest distributor headquarter accounts to accelerate our growth trajectory. A successful candidate will fully utilize the resources of the enterprise (company + broker partners) to accelerate profitable growth and bring a passion for “how might we”.

      Location:

      Central Division Manager is a remote position with location in the central time zone states, East Division Manager is also remote with location in the eastern time zone. Both roles should be located within one hour of a major airport.

      What We Are Looking For:

      • Minimum 8 years of experience in foodservice manufacturer sales, broadline distributor development at the headquarter level, and broker sales development.
      • Experience in leading strategic contract design and joint business planning with HQ distribution – Sysco, USF, GFS, or PFG, as well as super regionals
      • Broker partner management, developing regional sales opportunities, training, and creating Trimester plans
      • Strong strategy development and infinite mindset
      • Highly proactive disposition
      • Navigating negotiations and conflict management
      • Financial acumen related to trade design, management, and optimization
      • Customer business plan presentations
      • Understanding of digital compliance/shelf
      • Knowledge of distributor trends, strategic planning, and industry best practices
      • Ability to interpret distributor specific data -- and translate into relevant, actionable goals
      • Support of broker deduction management and repayment
      • Highly collaborative with peers and able to thrive in a matrixed environment, all levels, all functions
      • Leadership presence and strong command of all foodservice operator segments
      • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple dynamics
      • Ability to lead change and bring others on the journey
      • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and succinctly communicate (verbal/writing)
      • Disposition which empowers, fully supports, and inspires teammates and others
      • Ability and desire to travel to meet with distributors, broker market visits, and attend industry events ~25%
      • Strong proficiency in Power Point and Excel
      • Knowledge of Power BI, Blacksmith, Tibersoft or equivalents a plus
      • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent
      • Reports to the Director of Foodservice

      Education:

      Bachelor's or University Degree (Required)
