      As the Divisional Small Business Manager, in Business banking, you will report directly to the Business Banking Divisional Director. Your role will involve providing support and guidance to the Consumer Banking Division and Market Directors within your Region(s). In partnership with the Business Banking and Consumer Bank Region and Market Directors, you will help promote and ensure consistent execution of the small business strategy within the region/markets.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Acts as a liaison for Business Banking and Consumer Banking; ensuring consistent communication with Regional and Market Directors
      • Represent the Small Business Segment at all Business Banking & Consumer Banking Region Executive & Market Business Reviews, while supporting the Consumer Banking Region and Market Directors, and National Sales by promoting and ensuring consistent execution of the small business strategy within multiple regions.
      • Help new market branches with small business education and support by having field support team provide in person pre-opening workshops and help drive strong Branch OSAT scores by delivering a full One Chase experience in the branches.
      • Partner with Area Managers to develop a strong pipeline of ready now SBS talent across the footprint to support BRM staffing needs.
      • Influence partnership between the Business Banking and Consumer Banking leadership teams; using key performance metrics (i.e. NAO errors, Digital Adoption & customer penetration metrics, Deposit, Credit and Cash Management Growth) in order to foster common goals that promote teamwork.
      • Identify key Small Business performance trends, with an emphasis on Digital Adoption for branch business customers within the Region and Markets, and appropriately provide feedback and recommendations to Consumer and BB Regional and Market Managers on a regular basis.
      • Act as the point person for all escalations related to the New Account Opening process and Small Business Client Experience; ensure escalations are monitored and responded to promptly while working closely with Banker Support and the Business Account Review team to ensure a consistent support structure and provide feedback to improve the New Account Opening review process.
      • Support the ongoing Small Business Specialist identification process and day-to-day operations of Small Business Banking within your Regions; including recommended Small Business Specialist coverage and maintaining the small business training requirements of the Region’s Small Business Specialist population.
      • Ensure that all Small Business Specialist training and skill building workshops are relevant and address the specific needs of all bankers within the regions.
      • Identify best practices/success stories and raise potential issues/enhancements which require better execution.

      Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

      • Previous experience in Business and/or Consumer Banking (e.g., Business Banking Area Manager, Consumer District Manager, Small Business FSM).
      • Knowledge of branch operations, roles & responsibilities, sales structure, and product/service offerings.
      • Interact with Executive Leaders across LOBs and clearly articulate strategy, issues, and solutions.
      • Strong communication skills - ability to communicate across multiple organization levels and develop and deliver effective messages and presentations with an executive presence.
      • Strong coaching skills - ability and desire to provide continuous guidance/support to Business Banking and Consumer Banking leadership teams.
      • Flexible, organized, and able to achieve results through influence management.
      • Identify key trends and issues and propose ideas/solutions for further enhancement.
      • Prioritize, manage and execute multiple tasks and work streams.
      • Proficiency with branch support systems and tools including Contact Manager, Customer Assist, FSD, Retail Sales Summary, Branch P&L.
      • College degree or equivalent experience.
      • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in banking industry.

      Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
