- Responsible for all project communication, including project status reporting and organizing project meetings and documents discussion and action items
- Identifies resources needed and works with Functional Managers to assign tasks and responsibilities
- Manages the development of projects, implementation, and evaluation of projects to ensure the completion of projects as efficiently and effectively as possible within stated timeframes and budget
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects. PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred (Not required)
- Facilitate team organization and ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrums/stand-ups, sprint/iteration reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
- Prior experience working with automotive industry preferredu00A0
- Prior experience working with data teams preferred
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Basic knowledge of ticketing systems like JIRA and Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3+ years technical project management experience
- 1+ years managing technical projects that involve cross functional teams including software developers
Dominion VUE, a division of Dominion Enterprises, is looking for a full-time Project Manager with agile experience and whose main function will be to drive data conversion projects from our legacy DMS (Dealer Management system) and competitors to our new DMS Dominion VUE. Responsibilities of the position will include facilitating team organization and ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrums/stand-ups, sprint/iteration reviews/demos, and retrospectives.As part of the DMS team, you have a unique opportunity to join an exciting, dynamic, and closely-interactive group of people, whose focus is to power the tools that run car dealerships and integrate with many service providers and OEMs. This position is responsible for helping our development team work several projects that facilitate migrations from competitive conversions and other internal projects data related.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:This role offers a compensation of approximately $90,000 - $100,000 annually .
